Additionally, massage therapy is an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs and a critical component of sports medicine.
Become a Massage Therapist
In this program, you will be provided with the education and skills needed to perform various modalities of massage therapy including sports, pre-natal, therapeutic, Swedish, hot stone and hydrotherapy massages.
You will review Eastern and Western massage therapy history as well as spa therapies, reflexology and kinesiology, along with various techniques.
You can earn your diploma in less than a year and be prepared to step into a new career as a massage therapist in the area of your choice!
This course is designed to prepare you for personal and professional success. You will explore and learn about law, ethics and professionalism; anatomy and physiology; therapeutic and orthopedic massage applications; and much more to gain a full spectrum of knowledge in this intriguing career field.
The Massage Therapy program uses relevant instructional methods and materials in order to prepare you for state and national examinations so you can add to or establish your professional credentials.
